Mental Clarity, Physical and Emotional Wellbeing
I started working in the beauty industry in 2003, before studying at college from 2006 to add a range of complimentary/holistic therapies to my practice. Starting with Level 3 Diplomas in reflexology, Indian head massage and aromatherapy, I went on to undertake specialised training with Denise Tiran (an internationally-acclaimed authority on maternity complementary therapies) in the use of complimentary therapies for pregnancy and birth, before enrolling on a Foundation Degree in Complementary Approaches to Health; but the course didn’t run, so my career took a different path.
The years that followed were a whirlwind: forever on the road, some international travel, public speaking at trade shows and events, and teaching at some of the most prestigious salons and spas in the country, for market-leading international beauty brands... Juggling this and a chronic illness, plus life as a busy mum and business owner, did teach me a lot about the negative impact an overly-busy lifestyle has on our health. Chronic stress really is the new pandemic. While short-term, adaptive stress prepares the body for immediate challenges (fight-or-flight), chronic stress acts - in the words of some researchers - as a "toxic" agent that triggers prolonged, low-grade inflammation, oxidative stress, and structural damage across nearly all organ systems. A fibromyalgia diagnosis, hysterectomy and early menopause, plus debilitating neck injury, brought my focus back to personal wellness.
The study of holistic and complimentary therapies is a life long journey; a deeply personal, transformative path that focuses on treating the whole person - mind, body, and spirit - rather than just symptoms. My journey, as is so often the case, has been fuelled by a desire for self-healing; and has evolved through continuous education, self-awareness, and a commitment to helping others achieve balance.
Time For You
Twenty years on from my initial training, my therapies and energy work “toolkit” is constantly expanding. Adding modalities to my holistic therapy practice allows me to better address the physical, emotional, and spiritual dimensions of health and wellness, and to create more personalised treatment plans. Not everything I am trained in is listed below, but these are my most treasured and popular offerings. If you don’t know which treatment to book, don’t let that deter you, as I will be happy to advise you.

Eastern systems of medicine have recognised for thousands of years that energy flows through all of life; the word ‘Reiki’ itself can be described as universal energy that flows through all life and matter. Reiki Ryoho (therapy) is a natural, hands-on healing energy method, originating in Japan in 1922 with Mikao Usui, that can support the healing of both body and mind, bringing us in alignment with our own inner-most natural state of being.
The style of Reiki I practice is called Jikiden Reiki®. Jikiden Reiki is Reiki without modern influence or modification, the way it was originally taught in Japan. It is pure, simple, grounding and authentic to its roots and an incredibly effective natural healing method for the body and mind. A treatment re-awakens the natural healing process we all possess by focusing energy in areas where it is most needed. This is a gentle healing treatment to receive, which complements all other alternative or conventional medical treatments.
Standard Treatment: hands are placed on the head, feet and body to feel "byosen"; the concept of following sensations in the hands which tell where there are the most toxins, injuries or problem areas in the body. Incredibly relaxing and optionally finished with Ketsueki kokkan-ho (a unique massage technique).
Psychological Treatment: a hands-off treatment to help with fears, phobias, addictions, lack of confidence, anger, panic attacks, anxiety ~ the list is endless as long as you can pin point your problem. This can be used in conjunction with a traditional therapy.

Indian Champissage a simple and highly beneficial therapy that has been popular throughout the Indian Subcontinent for over 1000 years.
This stress relieving and relaxing massage of the scalp, forehead, neck and shoulders is performed the traditional way: with the recipient in a seated position, remaining fully clothed. No oils are used.
Day to day, we constantly put stress on our bodies; this is especially true of the upper portion. When sitting, we tend to have our upper body out of alignment (particularly when working at a computer), causing the muscles in our shoulders, neck and head to tighten, often leading to chronic pain.
This traditional Indian treatment combines massage with a subtle form of energy work. Gentle, rhythmic movements, plus kneading, tapping, and pressures, coupled with energy balancing (working on the crown, third eye and throat chakras), can be a relaxing and rejuvenating experience, reducing stress and anxiety, relieving tension headaches, promoting better sleep, and improving overall circulation and lymphatic drainage.
Indian champissage is especially effective for those:
~ who carry a lot of tension in their head, neck, and shoulders~ with joint problems
~ who suffer from migraines and headaches
~ who experience chronic neck and shoulder pain
~ with congestion and sinus issues
~ who experience anxiety and stress

Reflexology is a complementary health therapy that can be effective in promoting deep relaxation and wellbeing; reducing stress, which can be key in optimising good health and building resilience. It is a touch therapy that is based on the principle theory that all systems and organs of the body are mapped or reflected in different points on the feet, lower leg, hands, face or ears; reflexologists work these points and areas.
A full medical history will be requested on your first treatment, and you will be asked to sign a consent form for treatment. This information will be kept confidential. Reflexology is a very easy therapy to receive; depending on the type of reflexology, the most clothing that will have to be removed for a treatment to take place will be your socks and shoes. -
Dowsing is an ability we all have and can connect with. It is present within each of us since birth. It is used as a way of bringing our rational awake consciousness into present communication with our own intuition and inner knowledge.
When we explore and interpret the world around us we tend to depend on our five primary senses. These are, smell, taste, touch sight and hearing. As we are so dependant on the information given by these five senses, we tend to lessen our observation that serves as our inner knowing-knowledge by using them so logically and without question.
Dowsing can assist us to understand what the body needs in order to be healthy and how best to stimulate the mind in a way that is of benefit.
