Let me introduce myself…

I’m Gemma Pinfield-Thomas: wife, mother, facilitator, advanced electrologist and a beauty and holistic therapist with over 20 years experience.

Clarity is the culmination of a career that began in 2003 and that saw me teaching for market-leading global beauty brands within some of the most prestigious spas and salons, as well as running my own successful business. But after two decades of spinning all the plates, a neck injury, early hysterectomy and menopause, I found myself reassessing my priorities and creating a space in my career dedicated to skin health and blemish removal/reduction, promoting wellness through holistic approaches, and a little confidence-boosting for good measure.

My main focus is to offer safe and effective Skin Blemish Removal/Reduction using diathermy. This is available for many superficial (benign) skin blemish problems including (but not limited to) skin tags and papilloma, milia cysts, cherry angiomas (blood spots), seborrhoeic keratoses (sometimes referred to as senile warts), plane warts, verrucae, sebaceous hyperplasia, xanthelasma and syringoma. I am trained and fully qualified to advanced practitioner (ACP) level by Sterex, registered to practice by the local Environmental Health department and licensed by Stratford-on-Avon District Council. I am currently collating case studies and evidence in order to be qualified in Advanced Blemish Removal at Foundation Degree level (Level 5) in 2027. To ensure that skin blemish recognition is as accurate as possible, I work closely with other healthcare practitioners and the medical profession and have undertaken specialised ‘dermoscopy’ training under Dr Ayub Khan; I am also partnered with SpotCheck, for fast UK-qualified GP and dermatology specialist-led advice. I am MASCED-Pro certified in Melanoma and Skin Cancer Early Detection, and hold George House Trust’s SAFE HANDS: Understanding HIV in Hairdressing, Barbering and the Beauty Sector certification. Hygiene is paramount at Clarity: equipment is sanitised and disinfected to the highest standard, and both ultrasonic cleaning and Class B medical-grade sterilisation is practiced, courtesy of my Enbio autoclave. No expense has been spared to ensure your safety and comfort.

Clarity is also a space for more conventional treatment offerings including:

• Holistic Therapies such as Jikiden Reiki and Indian head massage

• Advanced Skincare assessments and advice, including recommending derma-cosmeceutical skincare brand Nimue for home use, plus a range of professional facial treatments

• Confidence Boosters: luxury pedicures, lash lifts, brow tinting and shaping, and hair removal options (waxing or electrical epilation - also known as electrolysis).

At the heart of Clarity is a desire to enhance well-being and boost confidence - supporting clear, healthy skin and clarity of mind.

Appointments are at my private home-based treatment room in Bidford-on-Avon, a riverside village in South Warwickshire situated approximately 7 miles (12-15 minutes) southwest of Stratford-upon-Avon.
